Tomato Soup


  • 1 tomato tin
  • 1 1/2 tin water
  • 1/4 onion (chopped)
  • 3 green chillies (chopped)
  • knob of butter
  • 1 tbsp. plain flour
  • salt to taste
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 2-3 tbsps double cream or according to preferance


  1. Recite Bismillah
  2. Boil one tin tomato with 1 1/2 tin water for 10 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Liquidize in blender.
  4. In a pot cook onion & green chilies in butter till transparent.
  5. Add plain flour & braise.
  6. Sieve liquidized tomato into the braised mixture.
  7. Add stock cube dissolved in a little bit of boiling water to the above.
  8. Cook till desired consistency, add cream & season.
  9. Serve with garlic bread or buns.
