
Ingredients
Marination:
- 500g steak (rump / flat iron)
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes
- 2 tsps lemon juice
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Texan spice / Robertsons BBQ spice
- 1 tbsp vinegar
Sauces:
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1 medium red pepper (sliced)
- 2 tbsps olive oil
- 1 medium green pepper (sliced)
- 2 tbsp Nando’s peri peri hot / medium sauce
- 2 tbsps Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- Salt to taste
Method
- Recite Bismillah.
- Marinate steak in listed ingredients preferably overnight.
- Heat olive oil in a pan & stir fry the onions & peppers till tender. Remove from pan.
- Add a drizzle of oil if needed into the pan & cook steak on high heat till tender. You may need to add water depending on the quality of your steak.
- Once tender, add the onions & peppers to the steak.
- Add sauces & simmer till oil releases.
- Serve with naan / chips & salad.
