
Ingredients
Chicken marination:
- 500g chicken
- 2 tsps garlic paste
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp schezwan chutney
Peppers & onions:
- 2 green peppers sliced or mixed peppers to preference
- 2 medium onions sliced thickly
- 6 tbsps oil
- 1 tsp garlic paste
Sauce:
- 6 tbsps soy sauce
- 1 1/2 cups water and more as needed
- 2 tsps Schwartz spicy Italian seasoning
- 2 tsps black pepper
- 2 tbsps vinegar
- 2 tbsps Maggie chilli sauce
- 2 tsps schezwan chutney
- 2 tbsp cornflour
Fried rice
- 1 1/2 cups rice (washed & soaked for 30 mins)
- 3 tsp salt
- 3/4 medium onion (chopped)
- 2 tbsps oil
- Big knob of butter
- 1 1/2 cup mixed vegetable
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes
- 3 tbsps dark soya sauce
- 1 tsp MSG (Monosodium glutamate)
Method
- Recite Bismillah.
- Marinate chicken in listed ingredients for 30 mins.
- Meanwhile mix the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl & set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan & fry peppers & onions in listed ingredients till tender. Remove from pan.
- Now stir fry the chicken till tender.
- Add the sauce, cooked peppers & onions. Cook till thick.
- Soak the rice for at least 30 mins.
- Fill a pot with enough water to cover the rice.
- Add salt & allow to boil till full cooked (approx 8 mins).
- Cook onions in oil & butter till transparent.
- Then add mixed veg & cook till tender.
Now add garlic, red chilli flakes & soy sauce. - Cook for a few mins.
- Add the rice & mix well.
- Then add the MSG, mix well & cook for few mins. Turn off heat.
- Serve with pepper chicken& enjoy !
