
Ingredients
- 3 cups plain flour
- 5 tsps baking powder
- 1 – 1 1/2 tsps cumin seeds
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 6 tsps sugar
- 4 oz butter (at room temperature)
- 300ml double cream
- Milk as needed
Method
- Recite Bismillah.
- Rub all the dry ingredients together till well combined.
- Add cream & enough milk to form a soft dough. You will know the dough is ready when the sides of the bowl come clean.
- Make rough looking balls & place on greased baking tray. Do not smooth them out.
- Bake on 180c till lightly golden (10-12mins) . Then lower the heat to 100c & bake till crispy and golden (can take up to 2 hours).
