Muskana Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 5 tsps baking powder
  • 1 – 1 1/2 tsps cumin seeds
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 6 tsps sugar
  • 4 oz butter (at room temperature)
  • 300ml double cream
  • Milk as needed

Method

  1. Recite Bismillah.
  2. Rub all the dry ingredients together till well combined.
  3. Add cream & enough milk to form a soft dough. You will know the dough is ready when the sides of the bowl come clean.
  4. Make rough looking balls & place on greased baking tray. Do not smooth them out.
  5. Bake on 180c till lightly golden (10-12mins) . Then lower the heat to 100c & bake till crispy and golden (can take up to 2 hours).
  6. Remember us in your du’aas & enjoy!
