Tandoori Chicken & Chips

Ingredients

  • 2 chickens
  • 2 tbsps yogurt
  • 5 tsps tandoori masala
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 120g tomato puree
  • 4 tbsps oil
  • 1 tsp green chillies
  • 2 tsps paprika powder
  • 2 tsps red chilli powder or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 onion (chunked)- optional
  • 1/2 green pepper (chunked)- optional

Method

  1. Recite Bismillah.
  2. Marinate chicken, green pepper & onions in listed ingredients for a few hours.
  3. Place in a oven proof dish with a few knobs of butter & cover with foil
  4. Preheat oven to 200c.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes till fully cooked. (Turn around after 25 mins)
  6. Serve with chips. Enjoy!
