Schezwan Stir Fry Noodles

Ingredients

  • 300g noodles (chings vegetable haka noodles)
  • 250g boneless chicken (cubed)
  • Schezwan chutney to taste (available online or in barakats in Bolton)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Green chillies to taste
  • 1/2 a carrot / 1 cup carrot (stripped into small strips )
  • 4 tbsps oil
  • 2 cups of finely sliced cabbage
  • 1 cup of mixed peppers (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup of mushrooms (sliced)
  • soy sauce to taste
  • Sliced spring onions to garnish

Method

  1. Recite Bismillah.
  2. Marinate chicken in 1 tbsp soy sauce, salt, pepper & green chillies to taste.
  3. Heat 2 tbsps of oil in a wok.
  4. Add chicken & stir fry on high heat till tender. Remove from wok.
  5. Heat another 2 tbsps of oil in the wok.
  6. Add cabbage, carrots, mixed peppers & mushrooms. Stir fry on high heat.
  7. Add in chicken, schezwan chutney & soy sauce. Cook for a few mins. Turn off heat.
  8. Boil noodles according to instructions & add to the above.
  9. Add more chutney if needed.
  10. Garnish with spring onions and serve.

  1. Hi, quick question where do you purchase your schezwan products from, i can’t seem to find a website that is based in the Uk.
    Btw we always try your recipes and they are amazing! 😍

    in your instruction number 2 it says add the stir fry what is included in the stir fry specifically like what what ingrediance
    don’t I just add everything all at once

  3. In terms of the noodles – does it have to be Chinese noodles .? Can I replace with egg noodles or any other noodles & wher bwts would I find the noodles you specified?
