• 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 350g pasta
  • 1 lb cubed chicken breast
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • 2 tsp mixed herbs
  • 2 tsp green chillies
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 x tomato tins
  • 3 tsp tomato puree (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 diced pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 pint single cream
  • 198g sweet corn
  • Grated cheese


  1. Recite Bismillah
  2. Boil pasta in salted water.
  3. In a pan heat oil.
  4. Add onion & cook till soft & transparent.
  5. Then add chicken, garlic, mixed herbs, green chillies, turmeric powder, salt, pepper, cumin powder, black pepper & sweetcorn.
  6. Cook until water evaporates.
  7. Liquidise the tinned tomato.
  8. Add to a separate pot & cook till water burns away.
  9. Add tomato & tomato puree to the above mixture, followed by the cream & pasta. Mix well.
  10. Place pasta in oven dish & sprinkle cheese.
  11. Just before serving bake at 180c till cheese melts.

Tip: Pasta takes about 12 – 25 minutes to cook! 

Tip: When boiling pasta, boil the water in a kettle then add to the pot, this will be much quicker.

Tip: To prevent the pasta from sticking to the point when boiling add a drizzle of oil to the water.

  1. Yummy this pasta has been a hit in my family. I used double cream with milk instead of single cream n i used a box of passata instead of tomato tins. Jazakallah will be definitely making it again.
