Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken (cubed)
- 1 tsp ginger garlic
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsps. green chillies
- juice of half a lemon
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- 2 tsps. chicken spice
- 1 large potato (cubed)
- 2 tbsps. ghee
- 1 cup mixed veg
Dough:
- 2 cups plain flour
- 125g butter
- 2 tsps. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- enough cold milk to make a soft dough (a bit more than 1/2 a cup)
Toppings:
- Few slices of green pepper
- Few slices of tomato
- Grated cheese
Method
- Recite Bismillah.
- Braise chicken in ghee.
- Add in all the ingredients & cook till tender.
- Allow to cool.
- Make the dough by rubbing the flour, butter, baking powder & salt together.
- Add milk to form a soft dough.
- Roll out the dough & place in a 9″/ 10″ greased baking pan / tray.
- Spread the chicken filling.
- Cover with tomato & pepper slices.
- Sprinkle grated cheese.
- Bake at 180c for approximately 30 minutes or till golden.
