
Ingredients
Marination:
- 350g boneless chicken (cubed)
- 1 heaped tbsp tandoori masala (may need more depending on which brand you use)
- 1 heaped tsp yogurt
- pinch of turmeric
- 1 tsp kasturi methi (crushed)
- chili flakes to taste
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- juice of 1/4 of a lemon
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder or to taste
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 3 tbsps single cream
- 2 tbsps oil
- 1 heaped tbsp butter
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup tin tomato / passata (grounded)
- 1 bullet chilli (ringed)
Method
- Recite Bismillah
- Marinate the chicken in lemon juice, yoghurt and tandoori masala for 30 mins.
- Braise onion in butter and oil until transparent.
- Add kasturi methi, followed by ginger garlic paste. Cook for few seconds.
- Add spices and tomato. Cook till oil releases.
- Then add in the marinated chicken.
- Cook on medium heat till the water evaporates and the chicken is tender.
- Garnish with cream and bullet chillies.
- Serve with parathas, chips, salad & sauces. Enjoy!
