
Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken cut into strips
- 1 large onion or according to preference (stripped)
- Mixed peppers according to preference (stripped)
- Old El Paso fajita or taco seasoning
- Mochachos peri peri sauce (available in Asian grocery stores) or a peri peri sauce of your choice
- 1/2 tsp garlic paste
- Salt to taste if needed
- 4 wraps
- Grated cheddar cheese- optional
- Salad
- Mayonnaise
Method
- Recite Bismillah.
- Marinate chicken in the sauce and seasoning for 30 mins or preferably overnight. No measurements, just estimate. If you want it saucy add more of each.
- Heat oil in a pan. Stir fry the peppers and onions until they are soft and lightly caramelised. Remove from pan.
- Now stir fry the chicken on medium heat tull tender.
- Mix in the peppers and onions .
- Assemble the wraps as follows: Lay a wrap flat, add the chicken mixture, top with grated Cheddar cheese (optional), followed by fresh salad and a drizzle of mayonnaise. Fold the wrap tightly and serve immediately, or toast until golden and crispy if desired.
