Dry Khowse

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 3 tbsps oil
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Green chillies to taste
  • 1 tsp msg
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp pepper or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 250g boneless chicken (cubed)
  • 200ml tomato / passata
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 200g spaghetti (boiled)
  • 1-2 tbsps soy sauce or to taste

Method

  1. Recite Bismillah.
  2. Cook onions in oil till soft.
  3. Add ginger garlic & cook for few seconds.
  4. Now add chicken, green chillies, salt, pepper, turmeric, chilli powder & cumin powder. Cook till water evaporates.
  5. Add tin tomato / passata & tomato puree, soya sauce, msg & cook till oil releases.
  6. Add boiled spaghetti to the sauce & combine well. Season & add more soy sauce if needed.
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander & fried purr (samosa pastry).
