
Ingredients
For the chicken:
- 100g boneless chicken or 1/4-1/2 boned chicken according to preference
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1/4 onion finely chopped
- 1 litre water
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Soup:
- 4 tbsps olive oil
- 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 grated carrot
- 1/4 cup mixed peppers (chopped)
- I tbsp fresh green chilles (chopped) – optional
- 1 heaped tsp schezwan chutney
- 1/2 tsp schwartz 5 spice seasoning- optional
- 1 heaped tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 4-5 tbsps soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1 tsp msg / Chinese salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 tbsps cornflour mixed in 1/2 cup water
Method
- Recite Bismillah
- Cook onions for the chicken in ghee till transparent.
- Add remaining ingredients & cook till chicken is tender.
- In another pot braise all the veggies in olive oil till soft.
- Add ginger garlic paste & braise for a few seconds.
- Add remaining ingredients, chicken and it’s stock. Cook till desired consistency.
