
Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken, cubed or cut into strips
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1–2 tbsp ground tinned tomatoes
For the Marinade
- ½ cup yoghurt
- 3 tbsp tandoori masala
- Juice of ¼ lemon
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes, or to taste
- 1 tsp salt, or to taste
Ingredients
- Recite Bismillah.
- Marinate the chicken with all the marinade ingredients for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
- Heat the butter and oil in a pan. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft.
- Add the marinated chicken and tinned tomato.
- Cook on medium heat until the chicken is tender and cooked through, and the oil begins to release.
- Serve hot with paratha, chips, salad and your favourite sauces.

Tip: Marinating overnight gives the chicken a much deeper flavour and keeps it lovely and tender.
