Chicken & Spinach Lasagne 


  • 1 packet lasagne sheets or fresh lasagne sheets.
  • 2 Tbsp ghee
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 bunch baby spinach chopped (300g)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp tumeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp green chillies
  • 300ml fresh single cream
  • 300g cubed chicken
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp green chillies
  • 1/4 tsp tumeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • 100g butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • Grated cheese
  • Pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • Mixed herbs/ oregano (optional)


  1. Recite Bismillah.
  2. Heat ghee in large pan & fry onions & garlic paste until transparent.
  3. Add spinach & spices. Cook on low heat till tender.
  4. Add fresh cream & remove from heat.
  5. Combine butter & spices with chicken & cook on low heat till tender. Then add to spinach mixture with cheese.
  6. Make sauce by adding butter, flour & milk to pot. Boil till slightly thick. Add cheese & season with salt & pepper.
  7. Pour a little sauce in the bottom of a oven dish.
  8. Place boiled/ fresh lasagne sheets in dish.
  9. Add chicken mixture and sauce depending on size of dish and amount of layers you would like. Create layers with lasagne sheets & chicken mixture & sauce.
  10. Sprinkle cheese & oregano / mixed herbs on top.
  11. Bake at 180c for 20-25 mins till slightly golden. Enjoy!

  1. This spinach lasagne was ultimate! MA I’m a person who likes to add extra and do my own thing in the kitchen and then my food ends up turning out not as expected, but this spinach lasagne recipe is unfaulted as it turned out really good even after I did a few things wrong… I’m going to definately try it again because even if I do something wrong I know it’ll turn out amazing iA. Family loved it! It was gobbled up… my sister even froze it ! So she can eat it after work. 😂
