Ingredients
- 400g boneless chicken
- 1 1/2 medium onions (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder or to taste
- 1/2 tbsp paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp tandoori masala
- 1 tsp kasturi methi (crushed)
- 1/2 tin (200ml) plum tomatoes (grounded)
- 1 heaped tsp ginger garlic paste
- salt to taste
- a sprinkle of garam masala powder
- fresh coriander to garnish
- bullet chillies
Method
- Recite Bismillah.
- Sauté onions oil & kasturi methi. until the onions begin to brown on the edges.
- Add ginger garlic paste & sauté for a min.
- Then add the chicken, turmeric & salt.
- Mix, cover & cook on medium heat till water evaporates.
- Add cumin, coriander, chilli, paprika powder & tandoori masala & cook the spices for a minute.
- Now add the tinned tomato & cook till oil releases.
- Add garam masala & mix.
- Garnish with fresh coriander & bullet chillies.
- Serve with hot chapatis or naan. Enjoy
