Ahmed Alzamel / Lazy Cat Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 triple chocolate muffins
  • 250ml chocolate milk / yazoo or according to preference
  • 300ml double cream
  • 165g Philadelphia cheese
  • 1/4 tin condensed milk or to taste

Chocolate layer:

  • 250g milk chocolate
  • 250ml double cream
  • 2 cups Coco Pops mega pops
  • 50g melted chocolate
  • Cocoa powder
  • Crushed Oreos / chocolate curls

Method

  1. Recite Bismillah
  2. Crumble the muffins into desired size serving dish.
  3. Pour chocolate milk over the crumbled muffins.
  4. Whisk Philadelphia cheese, double cream and condensed milk and till thick but still pourable.
  5. Pour the cream over the muffins.
  6. For the chocolate layer melt the chocolate.
  7. Bring double cream to a simmer. Add to the melted chocolate and stir using a whisk till well combined. Allow to cool .
  8. Take the melted chocolate and add to container / zip lock bag with the coco pops. Close / seal and shake till the coco pops are coated. Then add enough cocoa powder and shake again till the cocoa pops are coated. However we are not a big fan of this viral idea so chocolate curls / crushed Oreos it is.
  9. Add the chocolate mixture , followed by the coated coco pops to the cream layer.
  10. Refrigerate for a few hours .
  11. Remember us in your du’aas and enjoy!
