Ingredients

  • 185g unsalted butter
  • 185g milk chocolate
  • 85g plain flour
  • 40g Cocoa powder
  • 50g White chocolate / white chocolate chips
  • 50g milk chocolate/ milk chocolate chips
  • 3 large eggs
  • 275g caster sugar (brown caster sugar for extra fudginess)
  • Icing sugar to dust
  • Oreo chunks / Ferrero rocher chunks / Hershey chunks / chocolate chunks of your choice

Method

  1. Recite Bismillah
  2. Cut butter into small cubes & place in a bowl.
  3. Break milk chocolate / dark chocolate into small pieces & add to the same bowl.
  4. Fill a small saucepan about a quarter full with hot water, then sit the bowl on top so it rests on the rim of the pan, not touching the water. Put over a low heat until the butter and chocolate have melted, stirring occasionally to mix them.
  5. Leave to cool to room temperature.
  6. Preheat oven to 180c.
  7. Line a 31 X 17 tin with parchment / grease proof paper.
  8. Sieve cocoa & flour into another bowl.
  9. Cut the White chocolate & milk chocolate into small chunks. (Skip this step if you are using chocolate chips).
  10. In a separate bowl whisk eggs & sugar using an electric mixer until thick & creamy. The mixture should double in volume.
  11. Add cooled chocolate mixture & fold gently using a spatula until well combined.
  12. Fold in sifted cocoa & flour by hand.
  13. Stir in chocolate chips / chunks.
  14. Pour mixture into lined tin.
  15. Throw in a few milk/white chocolate / crushed oreo chunks/ or whatever you like really!
  16. Bake for 25 mins.
  17. You will know the brownies are ready if the sides are just beginning to come away from the tin.
  18. Cool completely before cutting.
  19. Cut into squares & dust with icing sugar. Enjoy! 😋
  20. You can also reheat these in the microwave & serve with ice cream!

  1. MA mA this recipe was so good… I feel as though everytime I make a recipe from this website my cooking skills improve; like with this recipe I was so organised! And this never happens because I’m usually very spontaneous with my recipes but a.h I actually followed the recipe word by word. And the brownies turned out so good mA, family and freinds loved them… even though I think I went a bit overboard with the chocolate at the end 😂 that was my spontaneous side trying to fight it’s way through 😉. So I’ve decided zahandzeecreationz is officially the best way to please my family. JazakA !

    1. Any brand, we prefer Sainsbury Belgian chocolate. They will not taste bitter because there’s milk & white chocolate x
